A romantic comedy inspired by Cervantes “Don Quixote.”

Meet Bashti. She’s a London Museum cleaner who is officially "done" with polishing glass cases and even more done with the overseas marriage her broke uncle is trying to fast-track.

While her family is busy planning her nuptials, Bashti’s heart is busy planning a different kind of ceremony: one involving the Chemical Brothers, heavy bass, and the perfect club outfit. Driven by a desperate need for a vibe shift, she chooses a daring midnight escape over a one-way ticket to a boring life, igniting a whirlwind adventure that’s as chaotic as a distorted synth lead.

Buckle up, because her "out of office" reply involves:

  • Truman, a bike courier who moonlights as a member of an ancient order of knights.

  • Chaos on tap: Mud fights, stage diving, and the inevitable preparation (and consumption) of magic mushrooms.

  • A bizarre cast: Wise Asian elders, prostitutes with pop-star dreams, rockers in Indian gear, and arrogant transvestites.

  • The great outdoors: Skinny dipping, nights under the stars, and getting hunted—stark naked—through Epping Forest.

  • Nature’s surprises: Unexpected sheep attacks and mermaids.

  • The holy and the mundane: Preachers who really should have reconsidered those pristine white tennis socks.

And that’s just the highlights reel. As the dust (and the mushrooms) settle, two major questions remain: How on earth does Bashti explain this fever dream of  her son? And why, of all things, does he act exactly like the father he’s never met?
